This is for all of you who filled out a “Check D” card Sunday, or let me know in some other way that you’re wanting to understand discipleship, including evangelism, the way the New Testament church understood it. I will be using the blog section of my personal site (cg3rd.com) to communicate with you, sending you text links to communications here from time to time.
I realize the same day and time probably aren’t good for everyone, but if at all possible, I want to encourage you to begin by attending our 6 p.m. prayer time on Wednesdays. Facing the church, it is the room on the left that can be entered directly from the parking lot.
Obviously, we need to begin our journey with prayer. This also will become a natural place to invite the “seekers” we know, the people who don’t know Jesus Christ but want to explore what it means to be a Christian. The time will be quiet, reflective and end with communion.
